Good morning! I am really thrilled to announce my upcoming exhibition : “Carnevale di Venzia”
February 7, 2015 – February 28, 2015 at the gallery Arthaus Neuhausen
My first trip to Venice was Easter 2003 with a good photographer friend where I immediately fell in love with the city. I have been to Venice and the Venice Carnival many times and I just love the atmosphere.
I have wanted to exhibit my Venice carnival pictures for some time but it was always one of things I never quite got round to. Until now.
Well, when my wife found out that the gallery where she was due to exhibit had an opening, I was in.
The carnival is well known for the exuberant colourful costumes, so this had to form the basis of my exhibition images. As you may well know, Venice is a photographers paradise. It does not matter what the weather, you can always take awesome atmospheric images and these mostly look better in black and white. Easy, the second half of my exhibition would be Venice carnival in B&W.
